pages home contact about e.r.i.c links eric's winners winner - my racing life top websites - sixes comment make money betting today eric winner's speculative bet friday, 20 july 2018 3:45 haydock racing tips (20th july) haydock 3.45 (8.4) i like this type of race where i can throw out a good few of the runners, in this race discard 4 and there would be a 5th if it wasn't a 3 year old, i've only got 1lb difference between the 3 horses at the top of the handicap, 3rd and joint 2nd top rated on my figures, my selection canford bay 11/1 seems to like to run with a low weight against better horses and a repeat of its time when 2nd at thirsk 2 runs ago would see it winning here and the price permits an each way wager. hamilton 6.50 (7.4) only 7 runners and only 3 with recorded times but a lack of early pace could be a problem, mont kiara is 3rd best but being a hold up type this race might not be run to suit it, mujassam usually tracks the leader and comes out 2nd best leaving king robert 5/1 as my selection but this one wouldn't want the going to be too fast. hamilton 7.20 (7.4) this looks a cracking class 2 race with 13 runners but only 1 known pacesetter but i doubt its capable of leading all the way here, dark defender is 4th best but doesn't want to hear its hooves rattling, golden steps is 3rd best and a hold up type which might not suit it here, classic seniority is 2nd top and another that doesn't like really fast ground, top of my list is the great wall 9/2 who is only a 4 year old and sprung into form last time out here and a repeat time would see it win this race but that was only a class 4 race so i'm hoping it can cope with stepping up 2 levels. newmarket 7.45 (8.0) this 4 runner race could turn into a tactical affair but i think the one that's most likely to lead here is mirza 13/8 and if allowed to set its own pace could lead from start to finish but any stakes will be kept below the top amount. newmarket 8.15 (8.0) a small field of 6 but with 2 front runners it should be a true run affair especially as the other 4 all like to track the leaders, poets vanity is my 2nd best rating but has to give a lot of weight to my selection which is dizzy g 2/1 who is going for the 4 timer here and has merited this move up in class and being a 3 year old it could still have more to come as it matures. pontefract 9.10 (8.4) there's 7 runners and 3 or them could try to set the pace, ninjago is my 3rd top rated but a hold up type so this race should suit it, cosmic chatter 7/1 is only 1lb below top spot and being a front runner could easily turn that around but i do have full intention 10/1 who likes to track the leaders in top spot so i will go with backing them both to cover both angles. promoted by jason coote at 10:09:00 no comments: email this blogthis! share to twitter share to facebook share to pinterest labels: canford bay , cosmic chatter , dizzy g , full intention , hamilton , haydock , king robert , mirza , newmarket , pontefract , the great wall thursday, 19 july 2018 2:30 hamilton racing tips (19th july) hamilton 2.30 (7.4) mount hellvelyn is housed in stall 1 and a possible pacesetter here and is my 3rd top rated, i've got joint top rated horses with our place in loule and life for rent 7/2, the former trainer has a poor 1-23 win rate here but the best time was recorded this year over this c/d, the 3 year old top weight did its best time at haydock this year and is another that likes to lead or contest for the lead and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch. life for rent 7/2 3rd hamilton 3.00 (7.4) another race where i think it will be won from the front, straighttothepoint is my 2nd top rated and a front running sort and coming from stall 7 and 2 stalls away in 9 is gullane one 10/3 a 3 year old that also likes to lead, so as long as they don't cut each others throats by going too fast they should have the race between them and the selection then prove the stronger. gullane one 10/3 1st chepstow 4.10 (7.3) i've got jaganory as my 3rd top rated and it likes to track the leaders but looks poor value as the favourite, kyllukey comes out 2nd best using a time from nottingham last year but top rated is captain ryan 9/2 and this one can be held up for a late run while if the early pace isn't very strong it can track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish. captain ryan 9/2 9th doncaster 5.45 (8.7) with a couple of possible pacesetters it should be a true run affair but they will be setting it up for a finishing type, mininggold sits in 4th spot with you're cool 2lbs higher in 3rd spot, desert sport is my 2nd best rated and usually likes to track the pacemakers but my top rated is muatadel 4/1 who probably doesn't want it too fast but the trainer does have a good strike rate at this course and does ok in apprentice races. muatadel 4/1 2nd promoted by jason coote at 11:37:00 no comments: email this blogthis! share to twitter share to facebook share to pinterest labels: captain ryan , chepstow , doncaster , gullane , hamilton , life for rent , muatadel wednesday, 18 july 2018 3:10 lingfield racing tips (18th july) lingfield 3.10 (8.5) not too bad for a class 6 race and my top 2 are both front running types and the only 2 known front runners in the race, llamrei or hurricane alert could be the ones to prosper if they go off too fast, 2nd top rated is ask the guru who has got the prime draw in stall 1 so it could gain control of the rail but with nothing else hopefully trying to lead then sandfranskipsgo 5/1 can from stall 9 either get to the front or at least challenge for the lead and then stay on the stronger at the finish if hitting the front it ought to be hard to catch. sandfrankskipsgo 14/1 1st catterick 3.30 (7.7) i hope all 8 of these run so i can back each way if there's anything of value, socialites red is my 3rd top rated but if they go off at full speed it might struggle to stay the distance on this tough course, short work 5/1 is my 2nd top rated but maybe doesn't want rattling fast ground and the 1 i think will try to set the tempo in this race although my top rated lucky beggar 13/2 is a versatile type and that includes leading so these 2 could battle for the lead and the stronger ought to hold on for the win so again i will be backing the 2 horses to cover the angles. lucky beggar 7/1 5th short work 15/2 6th yarmouth 7.45 (7.4) the 3 at the bottom are all 3 year olds who could have improvement still to come although i'm very doubtful about their talent, wild acclaim is 3rd best here but always looks as though further would suit it better, the hold up type born to boogie is in 2nd top position while strictly carter 11/2 as my top rated and this likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish. strictly carter 8/1 4th visit speculative bet to see eric's big odd tips promoted by jason coote at 11:03:00 no comments: email this blogthis! share to twitter share to facebook share to pinterest labels: catterick , lingfield , lucky beggar , sandfrankskipsgo , short work , strictly carter , yarmouth tuesday, 17 july 2018 3:00 beverley racing tips (17th july) 3:00 beverley div2 (7.) its fairly close between the top 3 of my ratings, 4th top is funkadelic one of only 2 known front runners in the race, my 3rd best is kibaar who is a hold up type and stays on at the finish and could make the frame, highly focussed was my original top rated but this one doesn't want the going to be too fast while compton river 7/1 moves to top spot with its jockeys 7lb claim, the trainer has a 24% win rate here and its the other possible pacesetter, so if getting to the front could prove hard to catch. compton river 9/1 2nd 3:10 bath (9.2) only 7 runners and i've only managed to get it down to 3 of them, look surprised 5/1 is 3rd top but 2nd top with the jockeys claim and the jockey has a 29% win rate for the stable, essaka 3/1 starts as 2nd top but 7lb claimer moves it to top spot and the trainer has a 22% win rate here,
